Directions from Auckland Central to Coatesville: From Google Maps: -
23.8 KM, 23 Minutes.

1.       Head northwest on Victoria Street West, towards Federal Street.  2. Turn right onto Nelson Street. 3. Turn left onto Fanshawe Street. 4. Take the ramp onto Northern Motorway / SH1. 5. Take Exit 412. 6. At the roundabout, take the 2^nd Exit onto the Albany Expressway. 7. Continue onto Dairy Flat Hwy. 8. Turn left onto Coatesville-Riverhead Highway. 9. Turn left onto Mahoenui Valley Road, Coatesville Settlers Halls is number 4 and will be on the right.

Please note: This is an Adults only event; we thank you for making other arrangements for your children for the evening.

Photography and Video: We would love to see as many candid photos and videos of the evening as possible and invite you to send them to our Facebook pages or email addresses; so we can put them all together and do something with them. Please bear in mind that during the ceremony however; we would prefer to see smiling faces not snapping lenses so perhaps reserve your artistic prowess until the reception.

THEME AND ATTIRE:
Please note: Fancy dress is not at all compulsory; many of our like-minded guests have expressed a desire to attend the Wedding in a costume of their selection. While we endorse a fun, comfortable and warm costume if you so choose; please note that if you would prefer not to wear fancy dress then please attend in warm, semi-formal attire.

“The Shining” and “Rocky Horror Picture Show” are two of our favourite films. We love the atmosphere of the creepy, time travelling, parallel dimension Ball Room from “The Shining”.
We also love the quirky, bizarre ‘hot patootey’ Rock `n’ Roll of “Rocky Horror”.
We’re trying our best to re-create a little of the spook and spark of these films in Coatesville; on Friday 13^th July 2012.

So now’s your chance to get into your “time travelling” costumes! It’s not a case of WHERE you come from; but WHEN you come from! But, just like The Overlook Hotel and the Rocky Horror Castle – just about anything goes; so go as crazy as you like! Just remember we want you to be warm, comfortable and to be able to see your face in photos!

RECEPTION MENU:
We invite you to stay for a reception of light refreshments, bubbles and a selection of our all-time favourite entrée snacks.
We are a proudly non-alcoholic couple; so please bear in mind that whilst there will be alcoholic beverages provided for guests, this is not our focus. Please also refrain from purchasing alcohol as a wedding gift for us; as this will surely go to waste.

WISHING WELL IN LIEU OF GIFT REGISTRY:
While we certainly do not expect any gifts at all; we do understand that some guests may like to offer a token of their love and support regarding our union.
If you would like to do so, we would appreciate a donation to a “Wishing Well” collection available on the night; which you can pop an enveloped gift into if you like. Your gratefully received gift will go towards helping to cover on-going costs of the wedding and also a mini weekend Honeymoon away to celebrate our Newlywed status. Most importantly, your presence on the evening is an honour to us.

TRANSPORT & PARKING:
By Car: There is some guest parking at Coatesville Hall but this will be on a first come, first serve basis at this stage. Otherwise plenty of safe, off street parking is available a short distance either side of the venue. Please bear in mind that it will be dark, so perhaps a little torch for the way back to the car at the end of the evening would be wise as this venue is somewhat rural. By Public Transport: Your best bet for public transport, would be to get yourself to Albany Station and catch a Taxi from there. Northern Express buses are excellent and run from the central city around every 15 minutes and after Midnight, every 30 minutes and will cost around $11 for a daily pass, which is the same price as a return ticket anyway. By Taxi: Auckland Co-Op Taxis on http://www.3003000.co.nz/ or 09 300 3000 will get you there and back safely. A Taxi to Coatesville Hall from Albany Station is around an 11 minute trip of 8.9km would be roughly $25 - $30.
